The Environment Park (Educational and Environmental Proposals) is an area which has been designed for enjoyment, experimentation and environmental awareness raising. These activities are aimed at members of the public of all ages and backgrounds. There are two parts of the park: the Centre for Environmental Resources (CRA) and the Environmental Park. There are different areas around a large lagoon. Each area presents an educational concept which deals with man’s relationship to his environment. In addition to individual visits, group bookings can be made (for associations, school and family groups, etc.) Thanks to the Castilla y León Federation of mountaineering we can enjoy walking around the outskirts of our city along local PRC routes VA-1 and VA-2. For the enthusiast there is the green route GR-27 which goes from Valladolid to Encinas de Esgueva, a walk of 78 km.
