Lugares - museos - Museo de la Ciencia

Science Museum

The Valladolid Science Museum was inaugurated on 29 April 2003.
It was created on the initiative of the city with the intention that residents and visitors to the city will enjoy the exciting world of science.
It was built under a project by the prestigious architects Rafael Moneo and Enrique de Teresa on the premises of an old flour mill, whose façade has been respected to house what are now permanent exhibition halls. To this space other installations like the Auditorium, the Planetarium, the L/90º hall, the 41º 4º space, the house of the river and the ‘El Palero' island have been added.
